40' Roto Float

The Roto-Float is a direct-acting float switch designed for reliable liquid level control. Each unit contains a single-pole mercury switch that activates when the float reaches a horizontal position, and deactivates when the liquid level drops approximately one inch below the activation point.

The float body is constructed from chemical-resistant polypropylene with a permanently bonded electrical cable. The mercury switch is enclosed in glass and fully encapsulated, creating a completely watertight and impact-resistant assembly.

Roto-Floats may be mounted on a support pipe (Type P) or suspended from above (Type S). They offer low cost, simplicity, and long-term reliability. Additional circuit configurations are available upon request.
